site to help offset the costs involved in our operation. This will allow us to
continue to make free screensavers for the general public,
custom free screensavers for those individuals that request
it, and keep the cost of our other screensavers down. In addition, businesses and web
sites can now order custom screensavers, sponsor a free screensaver
release, or advertise on Graphics

Us Page for details. To better explain the time and effort involved, let's take
a look at the Holiday Scenes 2002 screensaver, which
featured 25 animated scenes. This screensaver was a one
person effort and took over two months to put together, working
evenings (often late into the night) and weekends. The
2003 version took well over a month...and was almost not
created at all...
After the base Screensaver was created, music selected, and
all scenes running on the development system, weeks were spent
debugging it, and tuning it so it work work across the board
on a variety of platforms. This involves complete cycles of
the screensaver in different desktop resolutions, across six
different machines here ranging from an older Classic Pentium
P133 to a newer Pentium 4 2Ghz.
We've received quite a few messages wondering how we can do
this for free, especially when people are paying twenty to
thirty dollars for a screensaver that is nowhere as good as
the animated ones we produce. The truth is, we no longer
can, without your help. To address this, we are doing
two things. We are now offering custom screensavers for
businesses and web sites and other advertising options.

Us page. Secondly, we are now accepting contributions in amounts starting at five
dollars. You may ask "why should I contribute?" or " What do I
get for my contribution?" For any contribution you get:

site, and create new free and low cost Screensavers
In addition, as our thanks, for those contributing at least
$35, we'll include a free
CD-ROM with shipping included in the continental United States (A few dollars extra
elsewhere) which includes:
- All our free screensavers created up through the Happy Holidays

Note that this is a completely free gift; you are not paying for the CD, you're paying to
support the site, help offset the cost of tools and labor, and insure that future
offerings are low cost or free. You could scour the internet for the pictures and take the
time to download every screensaver from our site. With the CD you will not have to.
